Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott is yet to finalize their wedding plans after 16 months of engagement
Zooey Deschanel and fiancé Jonathan Scott haven’t made any wedding plans, despite getting engaged since August 2023.
According to Daily Mail, the couple has been occupied with their busy schedule and admitted that they have made little progress in planning their special day.
While speaking to People, Scott jokingly shared, “I can guarantee you we have done absolutely 0% more work. Maybe that’ll be my New Year’s resolution—we’ve got to get this wedding figured out.”
Moreover, the pair, who met in 2019 during a taping of Carpool Karaoke, have shared glimpses of their wedding’s vision.
Additionally, Scott previously mentioned wanting a “kicka** party” and described their aim to keep their ceremony intimate, as per the outlet’s claims.
Meanwhile, Scott proposed to Deschanel at Edinburgh Castle during a family trip, with the actress’s children, Elsie and Charlie, playing a part in the heartfelt moment.
As per the publication, the engagement featured a pipe band, a serenade with Neil Young’s Harvest Moon, and a banner held by the kids that read, “Will you marry me?”
Furthermore, Deschanel and Scott have been open about the joy of blending their families and co-parenting Deschanel’s children with her ex-husband, Jacob Pechenik.
