Zendaya, Tom Holland’s low-key proposal details revealed

Zendaya and Tom Holland are officially engaged, and the Euphoria star couldn’t be happier with how it all happened.

According to US Weekly, Holland proposed during the holiday season in a simple, low-key manner, which was exactly what Zendaya wanted.

In regards to this, an insider revealed, “Tom figured the holidays were the best time to propose in a very understated way. She didn’t want anything over the top.”

Moreover, the engagement rumors began swirling a day earlier when Zendaya appeared at the 2025 Golden Globes sporting a sparkling diamond ring on her left hand.

Additionally, the publication claimed, “Zendaya tried to keep it a secret but was very excited to show off her ring. She didn’t think people would notice but didn’t care either way.”

Furthermore, both stars, who have been dating on and off since 2017, felt the timing was perfect as the outlet reported, “Tom wanted to propose because he feels ready to settle down. They’ve had many conversations about their future over the years, but there was never any pressure. Zendaya is thrilled and giddy with excitement.”

It is worth mentioning that Holland had previously hinted at spending the holidays with Zendaya’s family in the U.S. during a December 2024 appearance on the Dish from Waitrose podcast, though he kept his proposal plans under wraps, as per the publication.
