Whoopi Goldberg Apologizes After Facing Backlash Again Over Holocaust Remarks

Whoopi Goldberg has apologized after some remarks she made about the Holocaust and it sparked backlash, the second time this week.

Back in February, Goldberg was suspended from “The View” for a considerable period of time in the wake of remarking on the Holocaust and the job of race in the genocide.

During an interview with ‘The Sunday Times’ on Christmas Eve, Goldberg said:[1]ET Canada

“My best friend said, ‘Not for nothing is there no box on the census for the Jewish race. So that leads me to believe that we’re probably not a race,’” Ro lling Stone reported.

“Nazis saw Jews as a race,” the journalist told Goldberg, to which she answered,

“Yes, but that’s the killer, isn’t it? The oppressor is telling you what you are. Why are you believing them? They’re Nazis. Why believe what they’re saying?”
