On Saturday, 18th Sept 2021, the well-known fashion journalist, Richard Buckley took his last breath at his home in Los Angeles. He lived with his wife, Tom Ford, and a son named Jack. They were together by his side at the time of death.
According to his wife, Tom Ford, Richard was not suffering from any specific disease and died of natural health issues. The type of disease is not yet disclosed.

Recalling the precious moments, Ford said that after falling in love with each other, their eyes locked and within a month they started living together.
In 2012, the couple was blessed with a baby boy via surrogacy and named a boy, Jack. Richard Buckley was an icon in the fashion industry and started his career in Fashion Journalism. In 1979, he worked as a fashion journalist at New York Magazine, and later, he worked at Women’s Wear Daily and Vanity Fair.
Buckley was born in Binghamton, NY, and grew up in a military family. He traveled the world and later, moved to Milan where he started his career as a fashion journalist.
In 1990, he worked as an editor at the Mirabella Magazine. Alongside, Buckley contributed as an editor at Italian Vogue. At the time, Tom worked for the notable brand Gucci.
