Tom Cruise reportedly has been looking for a fresh face, who can take his reprise his role of the secret agent in the Mission Impossible franchise movies.

Speaking to The Sun, a source shared that the actor wants to give a “fresh take” and for this reason he is on a hunt for a fresh, young lookalike, who can help him with being the face of the movie series.

“It’s very important to Tom that they get the right person,” the source declared.

They went on to add, “They are seeking a youngster who is completely fresh on the scene and will cause a real stir.”

For those unversed, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is scheduled to be released in cinemas on May 21, 2025.

Before signing off from the chat, the tipster added, “It’s a huge role but the hunt is on to see if they can find a young Tom Cruise.”

This report comes amid news that the actor’s unnamed collaborative project with The Revenant director Alejandro González Iñárritu has gotten a release date.

According to Warner Bros, the untitled movie will be released in October 2026.
