The Weeknd just unveiled the release date of his debut movie!
The 34-year-old artist, who is set to share the screen with Wednesday star, Jenna Ortega and Saltburn actor, Barry Keoghan, announced on his Instagram account that his suspense thriller, Hurry Up Tomorrow, the same name as his upcoming album, is set premiere on May 16, 2025.
First teased in 2023, the upcoming project is inspired from and also will feature never-before-heard music from The Weeknd too.
His upcoming album as well as tour are also of the same name, marking the conclusion of his trilogy, following his albums, After Hours in 2020 and Dawn FM in 2022.
With the Blinding Lights singer and Ortega, Tery Edward Shults is also the producer for Hurry Up Tomorrow, while serving as the director and writer for it too.
Additionally, The Weeknd would be releasing his album, Hurry Up Tomorrow music album on January 24, after which, the very next night, he would have a one night only concert at Rose Bowl Stadium.
As for updates on his co-stars, Jenna Ortega’s upcoming movie, Death of a Unicorn’s trailer was released this week, while Barry Keoghan’s upcoming project, that is a follow-up of Peaky Blinders recently wrapped up production.
