Simone Biles donned a jersey in honor of Jonathan Owens which displayed his jersey number
Simone Biles, an American gymnast, showed her support for her husband, Jonathan Owens, on Instagram.
The artistic gymnast donned a jersey in honor of Owens which displayed his jersey number “36”.
The shot showed Biles as she prepared to appear at the game, which was the last of the season at Lambeau Field.
The Bears were up against the Green Bay Packers, with the former finally bringing an end to their long-running losing streak with a score of 24-22.
Biles posted a video following the game to express her joy at her husband’s win, writing, “a bears win babyyyyyyy bear down.”
Owens bravely attempted a Lambeau Field leap during the game, but didn’t quite manage to make it.
“Jonathan Owens tried it, the former Packer who’s married to one of the great leapers of all time in Simone Biles, who had to be shaking her head when she saw that,” joked Kevin Kugler, FOX Sports Commentator.
It’s not the first time the artistic gymnast has supported Owens through her outfits, as she showed up to an earlier game in a tracksuit decked with the latter’s photos.
Simone Biles explained later that she reached out to the designers for her outfits of the season and let them take the creative lead.
