Selena Gomez lifts the lid on her pet peeves
Selena Gomez answers burning questions about her teenage crushes and pet peeves
Selena Gomez is telling all about what really annoys her and some confessions about her first crush.
The Grammy-winning singer, 32, sat down with W Magazine’s Best Performances Issue for a Friday issue, during which the conversation turned to things that mattered most to the actress-singer.
“My pet peeves are people who are late,” Gomez shared before adding she also doesn’t like “how people treat other people if they treat me differently.”
“I notice those things very quickly,” Gomez continued. “Because I have lovely people in my life that have nothing to do with the industry, and I really pay attention to how people treat my friends and people around me.”
The Disney alum also spilled the beans on her earlier crushes and the first time she shared a kiss with anyone.
“When I was younger, I probably had too many crushes,” said Gomez, noting that one was none other than Jesse McCartney.
“When Beautiful Soul came out—that was just life-changing for me,” she told the outlet.
Gomez continued, “I loved Chad Michael Murray from One Tree Hill. I also just had crushes more in real life than on actors or musicians.”
Gomez also got candid about “her first kiss,” revealing it wasn’t until she was “11 or 12” of age and it was on TV.
“I guest-starred on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, which starred Dylan and Cole Sprouse,” the Wizards of Waverly Place alum said.
“It was with Dylan, and it was really funny because both of us were so young. We were figuring out how to kiss. I had never done it, and I was so scared.” Her first “real life” kiss, she said, came when she was “14.”
Gomez is now engaged to her music producer fiancé Benny Blanco—with whom she recently spent their first Christmas and first New Year as an engaged couple.
