American actor Sebastian Stan received the award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical or a Comedy Film at the Golden Globes.

Stealing the top spot for A Different Man, he took the chance to declare his love for his girlfriend, Annabelle Wallis, “Annabelle, I love you.”

He went on to express his gratitude towards his fans and supporters, adding how he hopes the stigma around the issues touched upon in the film can be diminished.

“Our ignorance and discomfort around disability and disfigurement has to end now,” he stated. “We have to normalize it and continue to expose ourselves to it and our children encourage acceptance. One way we can do that is by continuing to champion stories that are inclusive.”
