Robert Pattinson starrer ‘The Batman Part 2’ has officially been delayed for the second time
James Gunn has recently announced that The Batman Part 2 has been delayed for another year.
Taking it to Instagram Threads, the CEO of DC Studios shared the news with his fans about the reason behind continuous delay to release the movie
Reflecting upon the movie, which was initially scheduled to be released in October, 2025, and he penned, “The only reason for the delay is there isn’t a full script (those of you who follow me here probably know that already).”
The Batman Part 2 will be starring Robert Pattinson, who portrays Batman, Zoë Kravitz, Colin Farrell and Paul Dano.
Moreover, Gunn revealed that the Director, Matt Reeves, is currently involved with the script to write the best screenplay.
“Matt is committed to making the best film he possibly can, and no one can accurately guess exactly how long a script will take to write,” he added.
Before concluding, Gunn shared, “Once there is a finished script, there is around two years for pre-production, shooting and post-production on big films.”
The Batman Part 2 has shifted its released date from October 2, 2026 to October 1, 2027.
