‘Nepo baby’ Prince William targeted in new documentary after Meghan’s ‘comeback’
Phoenix Brown, the daughter of Spice Girl’s Mel B, has called Prince William the ultimate nepo baby in her new documentary.
In the documentary titled “Born in the Limelight: Nepo Babies”, she described the future king as “the most famous aristo nepo.
Comparing Prince William to David and Victoria Beckham’s son Brooklyn Beckham she asked, “I wonder why society has accepted the ultimate nepo baby in the royal family but not in the world of celebrities.”
Phoenix, 25, further asked why Brooklyn is criticised for having career opportunities handed to him on a plate while Prince William is not.
Prince William, who is first-in-line to the British throne, will become the king after his father Charles, who is currently undergoing treatment for an unspecified form of cancer.
William’s wife Kate Middleton was also diagnosed with cancer last year. A few months ago the Princess of Wales said she has completed her chemotherapy.
Meghan Markle, the wife of William’s younger brother Prince Harry, who holds some senior members of the royal family responsible for their departure from the, recently returned to Instagram.
She used her new Instagram to announce that she will appear in a Netflix show of her own from January 15.
Known as the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan is often criticised by royal fans loyal to William, Kate and King Charles, for one reason or another.
Her husband Prince Harry apparently holds a grudge against the royal family for leaking stories about him and his wife to the press after his marriage to the former US actress.
It’s highly likely that the supporters of Prince Harry and Meghan would draw satisfaction from Phoenix Brown’s criticism of William in her documentary.
