Prince William has sparked reactions with his latest statement he issued to react to sad news from United States.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams has claimed that Princess of Wales Kate Middleton has been attending secret meetings at Kensington Palace ahead of her 43rd birthday.

Kate is set to celebrate her 43rd birthday on January 9, Thursday.

Amid these claims, the future king released a statement to react to the tragic death of Ed Pettifer, the stepson of Prince William and Harry’s former nanny Tiggy Legge-Bourke, who was killed in the New Orleans terrorist attack.

The statement reads, “Catherine and I have been shocked and saddened by the tragic death of Ed Pettifer. Our thoughts and prayers remain with the Pettifer family and all those innocent people who have been tragically impacted by this horrific attack. W.”

Reacting to the statement, one royal fan said, “That is so horrible. Praying for all the families in such a horrible attack.”
