Prince Harry Criticizes British Press on Accusing Meghan Markle of Choosing ‘Poisonous’ Crowns For Flower Girls
From the royal’s upcoming memoir ‘Spare’, Prince Harry recalls that he felt ‘energized’ about Meghan Markle’s lawsuit against Associated Newspapers Limited following their allegation of ‘poisonous flowers’ at their wedding.

When in 2019, Express allegedly accused Meghan Markle in a story that she had put Princess Charlotte at risk by choosing Lily of the Valley as part of her flower crown. These flowers are considered to be potentially poisonous if ingested by children.
Harry recalled that claim in Spare, explaining that the common reaction is “discomfort,” and that “very rarely” would such an incident end in death, via Page Six. [1]ET Canada
He found the claim even more ridiculous as the Duchess of Sussex didn’t even have a say in the choice of flora. The alleged “reckless decision” was done by the “professional florist” hired to make the crowns.
