Prince George set to break major Royal family tradition
Royal expert claims Prince George would divert from key Royal family tradition
Prince George may not follow old Royal family tradition like his father, Prince William, a royal expert has claimed.
According to royal expert Charlotte Griffiths, George is expected to study at a different institution as his father, Prince William.
William, the Prince of Wales, attended Eton College but Kate Middleton, wants George to attend Marlborough College, which she herself attended and “absolutely loved.”
Speaking with GB News, the expert noted that the decision whether George follows in William’s footsteps or would instead fulfil his mom’s dream will be revealed this year.
“I think this will be the year we find out where Prince George is going to school, and I don’t think it’s going to be Eton,” she told the publication.
“William obviously went to Eton and there’s going to be a lot of talk about him going there. I just don’t think Catherine wants him to go there,” Griffiths added.
“I think they might consider something closer to Norfolk. Maybe Marlborough,” she added. “Catherine went there and absolutely loved it and thrived there.”
“She had a really bad experience at her previous school, so it meant a lot to her that she found Marlborough.”
Before concluding, the expert said the decision on George’s schooling will be significant. “We’ll know what our future King is up to for the next few years.”
