Prince Andrew’s given last chance to make amends with King Charles, Royal family
Prince Andrew’s told the only hope for regaining trust of his brother King Charles and the Royal family
Prince Andrew received a key advice from a royal expert amid his ongoing scandal for having alleged ties with Chinese spy Yang Tengbo.
Following the scandal, an official statement from Andrew’s office stated that he has “followed advice from HMG and ceased all contact with the individual after concerns were raised.”
Latest reports have revealed that the Duke of York will also not be attending this year Christmas bash with the Royal family at Sandringham following public pressure.
One report also claimed that if Andrew had not backed out of the event himself, he would have been asked by King Charles to not attend the Christmas festivities in the wake of his latest antics.
However, according to a Royal expert, the Prince still has a chance to make amends with Charles and the rest of his family.
Speaking with GB News, Royal commentator Hugo Vickers suggested that Andrew should consider moving to Frogmore Cottage, and vacate the 30-room estate.
Vickers said he believes that the property would be an ideal choice for Andrew, and maybe he would be allowed to attend Royal family gatherings privately.
“Actually going to Frogmore Cottage would work very well for him, because he would still be within the security boundary of Windsor Great Park,” Vickers said.
“Nobody wants Prince Andrew in public life, that’s completely accepted. He would not be a benefit anywhere. But privately, he’d been included in Christmases,” he added.
“I think at that point, he really probably did have no choice. He just decided that it would be best to stay away, but it’s become quite unpleasant.
“He isn’t going to return to public life. I don’t really see what else he can do, unless he decides to go and live abroad somewhere.”
