Prince Andrew receives good news about royal title amid latest controversy
Prince Andrew has also released a statement to clear his position over the controversy
Prince Andrew has apparently received a good news regarding his royal title amid latest controversy related to the national security.
The good news has been shared by royal expert Charles Rae while speaking to the GB News.
The royal expert claimed despite the latest allegations surrounding the Prince of York, King Charles “doesn’t have the power” to remove Andrew’s royal title.
He said: “It’s not even Parliament that has the power to strip his title, it’s got to be the Honours and Forfeiture Committee, which is the executive branch of it.
“And they can only do it if he is convicted in a court of law of some crime. They can’t do anything at the moment.”
When asked whether Andrew should be “airbrushed out” of the Royal Family’s Christmas celebrations this year, the royal expert disagreed, saying it is a “family affair”.
Rae’s remarks came after reports a businessman who had forged close links with Prince Andrew and was authorised to act on his behalf to seek investors in China has been banned from Britain on national security grounds.
The 50-year-old man, who has been granted anonymity and is named only as H6, was taken off a flight from Beijing to London in February 2023 and told that Britain intended to ban him from the country. This happened the following month.
