Prince Andrew faces police probe in latest ‘shameful’ allegations
Prince Andrew lands in another controversy as Royal reported to police amid fresh allegations
Prince Andrew has landed in trouble yet again after a complaint was filed with Scotland Yard alleging he used false information in company documents.
The controversy seems to have added to Andrew’s troubles as he was already dealing with controversy over his links to a suspected Chinese spy Yang Tengbo.
As reported by Daily Mail, Graham Smith, CEO of Republic, claimed Andrew used the pseudonym “Andrew Inverness” when co-founding Naples Gold Limited with Johan Eliasch in 2002.
The publication revealed that the accusation is under review, adding that the “disgraced” Duke used the alias for four Companies House registrations.
This comes amid news that Andrew recently dissolved his private investment firm, Urramoor Limited.
In a conversation with The Telegraph, Smith said Andrew “must be held to the highest standards” and that Royal family members “appear to believe they can act with impunity/”
“The apparent filing of false information with Companies House may seem trivial, but the UK faces serious issues of fraud committed in this way,” he added.
“While no such fraud is alleged here, surely Andrew must be held to the highest standards.”
