‘Pretty Little Liars’ star Ian Harding shares 2-year-old son’s concept of Christmas

Pretty Little Liars actor Ian Harding has shared that his 2-year-old son doesn’t really get the concept of Christmas.

Speaking with PEOPLE magazine, Ian revealed his son’s thoughts about the big holiday.

“My dad also has a white beard, so [my son] sees the images of a bearded man and he’s like, ‘That’s Papa.’ I’m like, ‘No, that’s Santa.’ And he’s like, ‘Who’s Santa?’ He doesn’t really know. I think once he hits 3, he’s really going to make that connection,” the actor hilariously shared.

Ian, who shares his son with wife Sophie Hart, revealed that for his sons both of his parents are “freelance artists” and are “intermittently employed, so we’re always home,” therefore there’s nothing “special” about Christmas holiday.

“I think the only thing that’s missing is a tree. Hopefully, he’ll start to make the connection, but for right now, he just thinks it’s a day that he gets a bunch of gifts. It’s still, ‘We’re putting things on a tree? I don’t understand this,’” he added further.
