Pink celebrates 19 years of ‘gritty and sweet’ marriage with Carey Hart

Pink, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore Hart, has shared insights into her nearly two decades of marriage with Carey Hart, who is an off-road truck racer.

Taking to her Instagram account to celebrate her anniversary, she posted a picture of hers and her beau, who is an off-road truck racer, with a giant smile on their face, both had ski goggles on their heads.

“19 years ago on a beach in Costa Rica we both took a chance we weren’t sure we even believed in,” the Just Give Me A Reason singer penned a caption.

“I’m so glad we did. I’ve been with you longer than I haven’t. You’ve been my one constant. You have loved me, hated me, and loved me again.”

Before concluding, the Rock singer added, “I love our story no matter what gets written. It is gritty and sweet. Thank you for being by my side all these years. I love you forever.”

Following their anniversary, Hart shared two pictures on Instagram in which the couple were smiling while hugging each other.

“19 years married today to this amazing woman @pink,” he wrote a caption alongside pictures.

“For over 20 years we’ve travelled the world, made a family, and created amazing memories & life together.”

“Not bad for a couple kids who weren’t expected to amount to anything. You are like a fine wine, and I love you,” the former racer added before signing off.

For those unversed, Pink was the one who proposed to Hart by holidng a sign “Will You Marry Me? to pop the question during a motocross race in California in June 2005, after five years of their relationship.

The couple tied the knot on June 7, 2006 and share two children Willow Sage Hart, 13 and Jameson Moon Hart, 8.
