Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are back together after five years.

On Thursday night, Sir Paul and Sir Ringo surprised everyone with their performance for Macca’s Got Back concert at London’s O2 arena.

The former Beatles reunited for renditions of two classic hits, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and Helter Skelter.

Paul introduced his former bandmate to the stage, saying, “We’ve got another surprise for you. Bring to the stage the mighty, the one and only Mr Ringo Starr” lightheartedly adding to the drummer, “Should we rock? Get on your kit la.”

After playing the iconic songs, Ringo jokingly said, “Give it up. I’m off now but I’ve had a great night. It’s fantastic, playing with me old mate, but there comes a time when we’ve got to go home. All that remains to be said, I’ll see you next time.”

It is worth mentioning that the iconic duo shared the stage last time in 2019.

While Beatles’ track Now and Then is nominated for Grammys 2025, Ringo recently expressed his hope of adding another award to the band’s legacy.

“I’d love to win a Grammy. That’s the business I’m in – and the track is good. The last track ever by the boys,” he said.
