Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes celebrate Christmas game victory
Patrick Mahomes decided to avoid extra sweets while celebrating Christmas game victory alongside his teammate and best friend Travis Kelce.
The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in a Christmas day game, December 25, 2024.
As Travis and Patrick joined the NFL reporter Stacey Dales after the game, they were surprised to see footballs made of cake.
In the video shared on X (Formerly Twitter), Travis says, “Oh yeah, look at that” as he holds a football cake in his hand, adding, “A little red velvet.”
While Travis took a bite, the quarterback denied saying, “I’m watching my weight until playoffs, you know?”
“More push-aways than pull-ins, that’s what Coach [Andy] Reid would say,” the tight end hilariously added.
Revealing how the cake tastes, Travis said, “Very red velvety.”
“It’s very spot on. It’s good. I’m gonna take this into the locker room and get some victory cake,” he added.
However, Patrick hilariously chimed in, “Coach Reid’s ready for it, I’ll be taking it to him.”
Additionally, Patrick also discussed what this big win meant to him and his family.
Speaking of his pregnant wife Britany Mahomes, he said, “I told my wife I was gonna get her the No. 1 seed so we can go have that baby.”
