Nikki Glaser slams plastic surgery at Golden Globes

The 2025 Golden Globes were full of roasts, most of which were delivered at the hands of American comedian, Nikki Glaser.

Among her line of comedic jabs tossed at Timothee Chalamet, Adam Sandler, Glen Powell and more, she also took the opportunity to call out the industry’s love for cosmetic procedures.

“I love where you put your cheekbones,” she joked.

“I too drink a lot of water. I don’t judge. I do it now too. love how meditating removes your eyelids – really convenient.”

Her last comment makes a reference to a highly popular procedure called blepharoplasty, which is commonly known as eyelift surgery.

Glaser was also present at the event as one of the nominees, as she was placed in the category of Best Performance in a Stand-Up Comedy Program for her special on Max, Nikki Glaser: Someday You’ll Die.

The comedian previously discussed her plans for how she will carry out her part of the event, stating she would be steering clear of the scandal surrounding Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.

“I think the Blake Lively–Justin Baldoni thing is such a hot-button thing right now that even a mere mention of it will seem like I could be on the wrong side of things, even though I would never be,” she explained.

Nikki Glaser concluded, “I also don’t want to give his name any— I’m mad I even know his name, to be honest with you, so I don’t need to say it anymore.”
