Nicholas Hoult teases his villainous role in ‘Superman’
Nicholas Hoult plays Lex Luthor in ‘Superman’ starring David Corenswet
Nicholas Hoult talked about Lex Luthor, his villainous role in the new Superman film.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 35-year-old actor explained that it’s “impossible” for him to comment on his own “villainous turn” in the forthcoming super-hero film starring David Corenswet.
According to Hoult, it’s because “he’s not seen the final cut”.
“I don’t know. Until I see the movie,” the Nosferatu actor said, “I don’t know. We did a mix of stuff.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Nicholas also praised Superman leading actor Corenswet and its director James Gunn as he gushed, “James is brilliant. He’s a wonderful director and writer and creator, and I’m very excited to be able to see David‘s take on Superman as well, ’cause he’s brilliant.”
Moreover, while praising his costar Rachel Brosnahan, who portrays Lois Lane in the upcoming flick, the actor said, “And Rachel as Lois, as well. There’s a lot of great components of that movie.”
Superman is scheduled to be released theatrically on July 11, 2025.
The movie explores Clark Kent/Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his adoptive human family in Smallville, Kansas, according to Screen Rant.
