Molly-Mae Hague reveals emotional toll of her first Christmas after Tommy Fury
‘Love Island’ star Molly-Mae Hague opens up about her struggles in her first Christmas after breakup
Molly-Mae Hague, a television personality, recently got candid and expressed her thoughts on her first Christmas following her split from Tommy Fury.
On Wednesday, December 25, Hague uploaded a vlog on her official YouTube channel and shared a heartfelt moment with her followers, revealing the challenges of spending the holiday apart from her ex.
In the video, the 25-year-old can be heard telling her fans that she feels “deflated” before her first Christmas since parting ways with Fury.
The Love Island star showed moments of herself and 23-month-old Bambi at Lapland UK.
She quipped, “I don’t really know why—well, I do know why, actually. But I just have found the last few days quite challenging mentally and I have been quite down to be honest and I haven’t felt like picking up my camera.”
The mother of a daughter went on to explain that “even if I had picked up my camera, it would be like fake happiness and fake giddiness about Christmas, and I would never come on and act a way that I’m not feeling. Hence why I’m coming on now and telling you that I have been feeling a little bit low.”
Hague also noted by saying, “It’s so sad when people say that Christmas brings up emotions and for people it can be a really really sad time of the year and I feel like I’ve been so blessed in my life, I’ve never really felt that way at Christmas, it’s always been a really positive time for me.”
“But I feel like this is the first Christmas ever where I can really understand what people talk about when they talk about how it really makes you feel. Like when you’ve got things going on in your personal life, it can really bring it all up and make it feel 10 times worse,” the brand ambassador of PrettyLittleThing concluded by saying.
It is pertinent to mention that Hague and Fury, a British boxer and TV personality who met on season five of Love Island U.K., broke up in October 2023 after being together for five years.
Notably, the couple also welcomed their first daughter, named Bambi, on January 23, 2024.
