Meghan Markle’s cooking show branded ‘Netflix fantasy’ by journalist
Journalist unleashes scathing attack on Meghan Markle over new Netflix show
Meghan Markle has been receiving heat ever since the trailer of her new Netflix cooking show dropped with a journalist branding it “totally fake.”
GB News presenter Stephen Dixon bashed the Duchess of Sussex while accusing her of presenting a manufactured version of her daily life.
The trailer of the cooking show, released for Meghan’s eight-part lifestyle series premiering on January 15, was dismissed by Dixon as “a load of nonsense” and “Netflix fantasy.”
“It is a load of nonsense,” Dixon said, “I mean, because it’s all totally fake, isn’t it? It’s not her house, it’s not her kitchen.”
He added, “She’s clearly doesn’t spend her days picking strawberries and collecting honey from bees. I mean, the whole thing is just a fabrication, it’s Netflix fantasy, isn’t it?”
However, royal correspondent Cameron Walker defended the show, saying it fulfills Meghan’s long-held passion for sharing lifestyle tips and wellness techniques.
“But this is Meghan’s dream come true, isn’t it?” Walker said. “Before she even met Prince Harry, her passion was sharing recipe tips, lifestyle wellness techniques because she had a blog. Quite a successful blog actually called The Tig.
“Of course, that had to be shut down when she became a working member of the Royal Family.
“We all know the turmoil that happened with Megxit, now that her and Harry have come out the other side of that and have signed multi-million pound deals with Netflix and others, this is the proof in the pudding, pardon the pun.”
