Meghan Markle receives terrible blow ahead of Netflix cooking show
Meghan Markle recently made her social media comeback with Instagram post
Meghan Markle has received a terrible blow after she made her Instagram return and shared a glimpse of her upcoming Netflix show, With Love, Meghan.
The Duchess of Sussex’s struggles in Hollywood have taken a turn for the worse, as friends in media, who once heaped praises on her, are now criticizing her.
In an article for The Cut, Danielle Cohen bashed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s projects, including Harry’s polo show, saying they “can’t stop flopping.”
The article criticized Polo for lacking screen time featuring the royal couple, who stepped down as senior working royals in 2020 for a life in the US.
Speaking on the article, a source told Radar Online, “This is a terrible blow for Meghan. She thought she could depend on this writer, who she thought was her friend, to support her no matter what.”
“But she doesn’t get that writers need credibility, and nobody thinks the crap she and Prince Harry put out is any good at all,” the source added.
In her piece, Cohen said described Polo as another of Harry and Meghan’s “tortured attempts to launch a successful Stateside endeavor.”
She even said that Meghan’s lifestyle brand, American Orchard Riviera, “bound for the same fate” as her “beleaguered jam company.”
Commenting on her remarks, the insider added, “It could be her last chance to get their Netflix deal renewed.”
This comes as Meghan set to release her new show, With Love, Meghan, on January 15th.
