Meghan Markle plans to build massive online empire as super influencer

Meghan Markle could become one of the most powerful influencers online.

Duchess of Sussex, who spent years criticising social media for its negative impact, has launched her own Instagram handle recently.

She posted a beach video of herself and shared a trailer for her upcoming Netflix cooking show, With Love, Meghan.

Now, royal experts have expressed their views on Meghan’s bold move, suggesting that she could make millions as a super influencer, according to The Daily Beast.

Gray Frayter, social media director, shared his views on Meghan’s potential presence on multiple platforms.

He said, “If I were advising them, I’d tell them to double down on YouTube. It’s the hardest platform to grow on, but the rewards are unmatched when it comes to sponsorships and ad revenue through YouTube AdSense.”

“I could definitely see her finding success on TikTok. The platform aligns well with her public image and offers a lot of potential for engagement. However, X has become way too political in her world. She’s very protective of her public image and probably wouldn’t touch X,” he added further.

Gray also shared that Meghan could become the first royal super influencer, saying that the couple “could each make hundreds of thousands per post, no question.”

“I’d argue Meghan could easily pull in $100k per post, minimum. The same goes for Harry,” he added.

However, the CEO of Moment Lab, Matt Yanofsky, highlighted one problem, saying, “the problem is, it’s unclear if Meghan can sell products. She generates headlines, but does she move units?”

“Just because people want to watch you doesn’t mean they want to buy your products,” he added.
