Meghan Markle ‘critical’ of Kate Middleton’s ‘title’ after huge disappointment
Meghan Markle was reportedly expecting more from Kate Middleton amid feud, source
Meghan Markle is reportedly feeling frustrated after Kate Middleton failed to intervene and fix her and Prince Harry’s feud with Prince William and rest of the Royal family members.
Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, is since being “critical” of Kate’s title of being dubbed as Royal family’s “peacemaker,” a source has revealed.
According to Heat Magazine, the Duchess of Sussex wants Kate to step up and encourage William to forgive Harry for his past mistakes.
The insider said Meghan thinks only Kate can play a major role in reconciliation between the feuding brothers and help soften William’s stance against Harry.
Meghan is said to be anxious not to appear critical of Kate, who has had a tough year due to her cancer treatment, but the insider said she is privately disappointed that Kate is not doing more to facilitate a reunion between Harry and William.
“Meghan is well aware that William has major reservations about making peace with Harry, let alone inviting him back into the fold,” the insider said.
“But she believes he would be a lot more inclined if he had more encouragement from others, especially Kate, who – in her mind – aren’t doing enough to soften William’s stance.
“Meghan is very anxious not to appear critical of Kate, especially after what she’s been through this year.
“But at the same time, she does privately find it frustrating that she isn’t stepping up more to help Harry – especially as she’s touted as the peacemaker.”
