Lisa Kudrow makes bizarre comments about her marriage: ‘It’s not a romance’

Lisa Kudrow recently made unusual comments about her marriage to Michel Stern, a French advertising executive whom she married in 1995.

While speaking on The Drew Barrymore Show, the 61-year-old actress got honest about her wedding, saying, “This is 2025, it’ll be 30 years.”

“It’s not a romance,” the Friends actress said, adding, “It’s even more than a family member.”

According to Kudrow, who has a 26-year-old son Julian with her 67-year-old husband, it’s the most “intimate relationship” one can ever have.

While further explaining her stance, the No Good Deed actress maintained, “It’s different from kids but by 30 years…I’m not going anywhere! No way! That’s how I feel about it.”

Kudrow’s interview comes four days after she opened up about her first impression of her late Friends costar Matthew Perry.

In an interview with Today, the actress, who played Phoebe Buffay, said they were gathered for the table read of the hit sitcom.

“When we had that first table read, what Matthew was doing didn’t sound like what I thought I was going to hear. It was like nothing I’ve ever heard before, I went, ‘Oh boy,’” Lisa Kudrow shared, adding, “Matthew was blow-away hilarious.”

Perry, who played Chandler Bing on famous 90s sitcom, died in October 2023 due to acute effects of ketamine.
