King Charles’ heartbreaking wish revealed as he marks Christmas without key Royals

King Charles spent a heartbroken Christmas without his grandkids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, a source revealed.

According to a report, the monarch wanted to spend the holiday season with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s kids but it did not happen due to their years-long rift.

Charles’ desire for a family reunion comes after a year marked by health challenges, including his cancer diagnosis.

Speaking with The Mirror, a source revealed Charles is hopeful to bridge the distance between him and his youngest grandchildren.

“King Charles has expressed his wishes to see his grandchildren – and there’s no better time than the festive period to bring families together,” the source said.

“There is no feeling like being a grandparent and it is a role King Charles relishes,” they added.

“It is his hope for his family to be reunited and there’s no better way than spending quality time with his grandchildren at Christmas. It would be truly special.”
