Cooper Koch opened up about the success of his Netflix series ‘Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menéndez Story’
Cooper Koch, an American actor, snagged his very first nomination at the Golden Globes for his role in the Netflix series Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menéndez Story.
He opened up about how the success of the series has impacted his life since its release, and his surprise at being nominated, “This is amazing. I’m so grateful and honored to be here. And everyone in my category’s like, insane. What a talented group of people. And I’m just honored to be next to them.”
When Koch was asked about his interactions with fans on social media, he revealed that Kim Kardashian had reached out to him to reveal how much she had loved the show.
“It was fun,” he added. “She’s great. I love her.”
The actor was up against several big names in the Best Performance By A Male Actor In A Limited Series category, including Andrew Scott, Kevin Kline, Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor and Richard Gadd.
Koch previously revealed that he wants to be more particular about his next project, “It’s amazing to be in a different position now,” he explained, “I can sort of pick and choose, and I want to do something that means something to me, that I feel passionate about.”
“I feel like my work is just better when I feel deeply connected to a story, to a person or to a specific meaning or purpose. And so I want to find something that is really special and I feel really passionate about,” Cooper Koch concluded.
