Kieran Culkin shares one challenge of fatherhood he can’t ignore
The actor is the dad of two children, daughter Kinsey, 5, and son Wilder, 3
Kieran Culkin opened up about one dad duty he doesn’t like doing.
In a recent chat on Variety‘s Actors on Actors series published on Wednesday, Dec. 18, the Succession star admitted that he loves being a father, but there is one duty that is least favorite to him.
“What do you like about being a father?” Colman Domingo asked, to which Culkin jokingly replied, “Absolutely everything except dinner time.”
“I love everything else,” he clarified his statement.
“It feels like nothing else matters,” he shared, talking about fatherhood. “I’m a dad now, and my only role in life is that. That’s real life. All this is lovely, but I’m just trying to get home.”
It is pertinent to mention that Culkin shares a 5-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old daughter with his wife Jazz Charton.
In a previous interview that occurred earlier in December, the father of two revealed that he has restricted his kids from watching his and his brother Macaulay Culkin’s iconic Christmas movie, Home Alone.
“There’s still some scary parts for the 3-year-old, there’s the tarantula [and] there’s the guy at the end who said, ‘I’m gonna bite off all your fingers.’ That’s scary for a 3-year-old,” the actor explained.
