Kevin McGarry gets candid about his romance with Kayla Wallace

Kevin McGarry, known for making Hearties swoon on When Calls the Heart, recently revealed how he won the heart of his wife, Kayla Wallace.

According to Soap Hub, the cast of When Calls the Heart attended the Hallmark Christmas Experience in Kansas from December 13-15, where Kevin talked about his relationship with Kayla.

Sharing his feelings, the 39-year-old actor admitted that he was struck when he first met his now-wife.

However, the Landman actress did not feel the same way as Kevin said, “She made me work for it,” and turned him down when he asked her out.

Gushing over his wife, he quipped, “The best thing that show has given me is Kayla. I remember coming out of her trailer. She was on the show, actually, just before me, I believe. And I remember going to set, meeting everybody. I didn’t know who she was or what she was doing there.”

Moreover, the Crimson Sky singer still called to mind the first time he met Kayla, saying there were “cherubs flying around and doves.”

Kevin jokingly added that the 31-year-old star of The Good Doctor only knew about his long legs when they first met.

It is pertinent to mention that Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace confirmed their marriage in September 2024.
