Kate Middleton marks ‘happy’ return to royal duties after tough cancer battle
Royal fans had been eagerly waiting for Kate Middleton’s return to public after a difficult year.
Since her cancer diagnosis and chemotherapy treatment, the Princess of Wales returned to greeting the public alongside the royal family for their annual Christmas Day walk.
According to a report by PEOPLE magazine while Kate engaged with the public she could be seen happy, smiling and chatting with the crowd. Additionally, the interaction was poignant not just for her but people who engaged with her as well.
One of the attendees, Beauchamp, who teaches English in France, had a special gift for Kate.
He told the outlet that when he gifted her a scarf along with a letter about “positive impact she has had on my life over the years,” Princess Kate thanked him and “said it was wonderful and so kind of me to have come again.”
“She was as genuine and close to people as I remembered. She seemed so happy to be with us again. You could tell she was truly touched,” he added further.
