‘Underworld’ star Kate Beckinsale briefly dated Matt Rife in 2017
The ex-couple, Beckinsale and Rife, who briefly dated in 2017, sparked rumours of kissing at the Golden Globes after-party.
Now, the representative for the actress has confirmed that the rumours were “incorrect.”
The representative told PEOPLE magazine, “It is incorrect that they were kissing.”
However, they went on to reveal that the former couple are just “friendly exes” who were catching up at the Netflix after-party, where they were spotted speaking.
“They are friendly exes who were having a fun time speaking,” the representative stated.
Following the Golden Globes ceremony, Beckinsale also attended an after-party at Chateu Marmont alongside Paris Jackson, actor Harry Goodwins and Rife. Meanwhile, Rife later attended another after-party, where he reconnected with comedian Nikki Glaser.
On the professional front, Beckinsale, known for her role in Underworld, is currently working on upcoming projects like the thrillers Stolen Girl and The Patient.
Meanwhile, Rife made headlines in comedy, has films I Live Here Now and Candy Flip lined up for release.
