Kanye West has been outside the US for quite some time, and the reason for this is said to involve his feeling of “feeling unsafe” in his home country.

A source shared this in the wake of mounting legal troubles and the constant attention of paparazzi on him in the US.

“They are hounded when they are in the United States, and they never feel truly safe,” the insider told Daily Mail.

“The United States is the only country that Kanye is in where he is constantly getting into scuffles that get him in trouble,” the bird chirped.

Unlike abroad, the source said Ye faced a kind of media attention in the States, which annoyed him.

“He is just sick of people invading his space, and when they are abroad, this doesn’t happen. People respect him more,” the mole explained, as the Power hitmaker has had several scuffles with the paparazzi in the past.

For quite some months, the Grammy winner has been living in luxury hotels in Japan.

His friend told music journalist Touré that the Donda singer may have found the East Asian country suitable because “in LA he’s got a war with the paparazzi. He does not like the paparazzi.”

“In Japan he has a different level of peace of mind, which obviously leads to being able to make really good music.”

“Because your mind is at ease. Your mind is at rest. You’re not paranoid about anything,” another friend of Kanye summarized his seemingly likely reasons for staying in Japan for this long.

In other news, Ye has been in Maldives to celebrate the New Year and his wife Bianca Censori’s 30th birthday.

“He is flying in some of Bianca’s family for her birthday and they have been villa hopping at the resort and enjoying the amenities,” the snitch told The U.S. Sun.

“But they plan to party for Bianca’s birthday on Sunday and make it a special occasion,” the insider concluded.
