Justin Baldoni’s publicist breaks silence amid Blake Lively lawsuit
Justin Baldoni‘s publicist Jennifer Abel has been named in Blake Lively‘s lawsuit
Justin Baldoni‘s publicist Jennifer Abel broke silence after Blake Lively filed a sexual harassment case against her It Ends With Us co-star.
According to TheWrap, Jennifer, a publicist implicated in Blake’s lawsuit against Justin, actually quit Jonesworks company in July, however, she planned on remaining at the PR firm until the press tour for It Ends With Us ends.
A close source told the publication that the reason of quitting was over “bullying” behaviour from the company.
Moreover, Jennifer‘s lawyer Bryan Freedman confirmed to JustJared.com that her leaked resignation letter is indeed valid.
She was fired by Jonesworks in August after the company’s founder learned that she was “poised to leave and start her own firm.”
A previous report revealed that Justin’s former publicist Stephanie Jones‘ company Jonesworks was the source of the leaked text messages that were included in the 37-year-old actress’ lawsuit against the 40-year-old actor.
For the unversed, Justin’s former publicist recently sued him and Jennifer for defamation, breach of contract and more.
In her filing in New York, Stephanie sued Jane the Virgin alum’s Wayfarer Studios, publicists Melissa Nathan and Jennifer.
Stephanie claimed that Melissa and Jennifer secretly conspired for months to publicly and privately attack her company and to steal clients and business prospects.
The formal lawsuit further stated that behind Jones’s back, they secretly coordinated with Justin Baldoni and Wayfarer to implement an aggressive media smear campaign against Blake Lively.
