Jay-Z not arrested by feds

An amended lawsuit filed in federal court earlier this month alleged that Jay-Z raped a 13-year-old girl along with Sean “Diddy” Combs during a party in 2000.

Jay-Z denied the allegations on social media and blasted the lawsuit, calling it part of a “blackmail attempt” by the plaintiff’s lawyer. Lawyers for Jay-Z did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Shortly after the report about the lawsuit appeared online, a fake news about Jay-Z was circulated on YouTube and other social media platforms.

Some users went on to attribute the news to celebrity website TMZ but the claim was false as the media outlet did not report on his arrest.

A YouTube video received more 90k views claiming the rapper was arrested by feds.

Jay-Z’s lawyers asked a judge Wednesday to speedily extract the rapper from a lawsuit in which a woman alleges she was sexually assaulted by Jay-Z and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs when she was 13.

The unidentified woman recently added Jay-Z, whose legal name is Shawn Carter, to her lawsuit against Combs in Manhattan federal court, alleging that she was attacked by the singers in 2000 after Combs’ limo driver offered her a ride to an MTV Video Music Awards after-party.
