Insider addresses Zendaya’s decision to show off engagement at Golden Globes

Zendaya and Tom Holland are reportedly ready to move into the next phase of their life and with that, an insider just got candid about their engagement. 

A source close to the couple candidly talked to DailyMail about their next step after getting engaged.

They shared insights into the proposal and said, “The proposal was sweet and romantic and happened over the holidays.”

Holland spent Christmas with Zendaya’s family in US and the insider dished on that by saying, “He did it the old-fashioned way and got permission from her folks. Everyone is thrilled.”

“They are the most normal couple at home, and she is ready to spend her life with him.”

Moreover, the source revealed the lovebirds’ plan and told the outlet, “She has gotten everything she dreamed of and marrying Tom and starting a family is next on her list.”

On January 5, Zendaya flashed a diamond ring at the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles which sparked engagement rumours.

Following this, the insiders added, “Zendaya knew what she was doing when she wore that ring, and she did not care. She also knew that this would get out there, but she was ready for it.”

Before concluding, the insiders shared, “She loves Tom and he has been with her through thick and thin. They have a unique private romance and although they may seem very opposite, nothing could be further from the truth.”

For those unversed, the couple first met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016 and they confirmed they are dating in July 2021.
