Hugh Jackman was recently spotted enjoying a performance of Sutton Foster in Once Upon a Mattress.
On Saturday, January 4, the 56-year-old actor was seen at Foster’s play Once Upon a Mattress at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles.
In the audience, he was accompanied by Carol Burnett, who depicted the same role in the original 1959 production that Foster now played.
DeuxMoi shared some photos in which Jackman can be spotted smiling and holding his phone up towards the 91-year-old Burnett while sitting next to her in the theatre.
The Annie actress gave a kiss and waved at the crowd when people were looking at both stars.
According to the report of the same pop culture outlet, they both came to see Foster in the second-to-last show of Once Upon a Mattress, and one attendee quipped, “The audience gave massive applause for Carol Burnett during the intermission.”
Notably, Jackman came to watch the show amid rumours about a romance between him and Foster.
They have worked together in the Broadway show The Music Man, which aired from December 2021 to January 2023.
