‘Honest’ Blake Lively receives support from Kaitlin Olson amid lawsuit
Blake Lively accused Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment and running a social media smear campaign
Kaitlin Olson is showing her support for Blake Lively after her recent legal move against It Ends With Us director-costar Justin Baldoni.
The 49-year-old star, reacted to Lively’s ongoing legal battle, sharing The New York Times Reel breaking down the case regarding Lively’s lawsuit against Baldoni.
“@blakelively is a kind, lovely, honest and generous person (and an incredible mom) FYI,” the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star wrote on her Instagram Stories on Thursday, December 26
For those unversed, Blake Lively has recently accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and running a social media smear campaign against her.
“I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted,” Lively said to The New York Times.
However, Baldoni’s attorney called out the allegations “false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt” the Five Feet Apart actor.
Many stars have shown support for Lively amid her lawsuit, including, her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costars Alexis Bledel, America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, and A Simple Favor director Paul Feig and It End With Us costar Jenny Slate.
“As Blake Lively’s cast mate and friend, I voice my support as she takes action against those reported to have planned and carried out an attack on her reputation,” Slate said. “Blake is a leader, loyal friend, and a trusted source of emotional support for me and so many who know and love her.”
“What has been revealed about the attack on Blake is terribly dark, disturbing, and wholly threatening,” Slate noted. “I commend my friend, I admire her bravery, and I stand by her side.”
