Google Doodle Celebrates Moin Akhtar’s 71st Birth Anniversary

Pakistani legend, comedian, and actor late Moin Akhtar’s 71st birth anniversary is celebrated by Google Doodle in retro style. He was born in Karachi on 24 December 1950. Moin started his career as a child actor at the age of 13.

On 6th September 1966, Moin Akhtar made his TV debut on Pakistan Television (PTV). His sense of humor was highly appreciated throughout Pakistan. Moin Akhtar made millions of people laugh with his talk show “Loose Talk”. He rose to fame in the era of Radio Pakistan along with his co-actors Anwar Maqsood and Bushra Ansari.

The actor died on 22 April 2011 in Karachi after suffering a heart attack. Moin Akhtar was awarded Presidential Pride of Performance in 1996 and Sitara-i-Imtiaz in 2011.
