Day before Golden Globes 2025, presenter Aubrey Plaza devastated by husbands suicide

Aubrey Plaza, one of the presenters at the Sunday’s Golden Globes ceremony, has been devastated by the death of her husband Jeff Baena.

 Baena, a screenwriter and director whose credits include the off-beat comedies “The Little Hours” and “Life After Beth,” has died. He was 47. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office confirmed Baena’s death. His body was discovered on Friday at a Los Angeles residence.

According to the local media, Jeff Baena committed suicide but circumstances were still not known.

Baena was the husband of Aubrey Plaza, who starred in “The Little Hours,” a 2017 black comedy set in a 14th century convent, and “Life After Beth,” a zombie satire.
