Bruce is sharing his two cents on the casting of a biopic being made on him, especially with Jeremy Allen White playing the lead.

The singer, 75, made an appearance on SiriusXM’s E Street Radio recently where Springsteen gave his verdict on White’s performance so far in the upcoming biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere.

“He sings well. He sings very well,” Springsteen began before lauding the rest of the casting. “You know, and Jeremy Strong and Odessa Young, you know, it’s a tremendous cast of people. They cast the film beautifully, so it’s very exciting.”

The Thunder Road singer turned his focus back on White to share it was “a little bit” weird at first having someone play him in a film, but added, “you get over that pretty quick.”

“Jeremy is such a terrific actor that you just fall right into it,” he continued. “He’s got an interpretation of me that I think the fans will deeply recognize and he’s just done a great job, so I’ve had a lot of fun. I’ve had a lot of fun being on the set when I can get there.”

Springsteen has also even visited White, 33, on the film set in Bayonne, N.J. in November.
