Brandon Sklenar insists on giving Blake Lively’s legal complaint a read
Blake Lively receives support from ‘It Ends with Us’ costar Brandon Sklenar amid Justin Baldoni lawsuit
Actor Brandon Sklenar is the recent crew member who has backed It Ends With Us star Blake Lively in her lawsuit against Justin Baldoni.
Sklenar, 34, who starred in the film with Lively and Baldoni, took to Instagram Stories on Monday with a screenshot of the complaint filed by the actress on December 20.
He included a link to the New York Times‘ archive of the legal documents, writing, “FOR THE LOVE OF GOD READ THIS.” Sklenar also tagged Lively, 37, along with a red heart emoji.
Sklenar also posted a lengthy statement in a separate post, part of which read, “Vilifying the women who put so much of their heart and soul into making this film because they believe so strongly in its message seems counterproductive and detracts from what this film is about. It is, in fact, the opposite of the point.”
Lively’s complaint was filed against Baldoni, his production company Wayfarer Studios, its co-founder Steve Sarowitz, It Ends with Us lead producer Jamey Heath, and those alleged of tarnishing Lively’s reputation via a retaliatory smear campaign including Jed Wallace, PR crisis manager Melissa Nathan and publicist Jennifer Abel.
Blake’s complaint also includes screenshots of alleged texts and emails between members of Baldoni’s team planning the smear campaign.
Her lawsuit comes months after rumours of behind-the-scenes conflicts with Baldoni, 40, circulated the internet with the whole cast avoiding Baldoni.
Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman refuted Lively’s allegations as “false, outrageous, and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt.”
