ISLAMABAD: Microsoft co-founder has arrived in Pakistan for a one-day long official visit
The richest businessman landed in the country’s federal capital Islamabad today. According to the reports, Bill gates will meet Prime Minister Imran Khan and President Dr. Arif Alvi, and other officials of the government.
Bill Gates also visited a Covid hospital in Chak Shahzad, Islamabad. Sources confirm that he will further visit the National Command and Operation Center headquarters during his one-day-long visit to Pakistan.
Gates will be updated about the current Covid pandemic situation in Pakistan. Microsoft co-founder will return this evening after meeting top officials.
The billionaire philanthropist, who is also the co-chairman of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, a major contributor in worldwide polio eradication, was given a detailed briefing on Pakistan’s efforts to wipe the virus out of the country.
