American actress and comedian Betty White has passed away at the age of 99 on Friday.

According to the reports, Betty White was about to hit her 100th birthday. TMZ news confirmed that the Golden Girls actress breathed her last just before 9:30 AM. 

At the age of 99, Betty White passed away and weeks before turning 100. She had the longest career in Television. She was a pioneer of early television, with a career spanning seven decades, White was noted for her vast work in the entertainment industry.

Betty White started her work back in 1939 and got the chance to host several shows. However, she gaiend popularity for her role in the Golden Girls sitcom as Rose Nylund. The show ran from 1985 to 1992.

Betty appeared in several movies and TV shows including The Love Boat, Ladies Man, The 70’s Show, Life with Elizabeth, Boston Legal, and more.

For her contribution in the entertainment industry, White achieved multiple awards and nominations.
