Bad Bunny addresses rumors surrounding upcoming album
Bad Bunny breaks silence on whether his new album is about Kendall Jenner
Bad Bunny has teased that his upcoming album Debí Tirar Más Fotos could be about his ex, Kendall Jenner.
On January 5, in an interview with Time magazine, the 30-year-old singer addressed speculations about whether his new music is about the model.
“I have written songs inspired by people that people don’t have a f—ing clue who they are,” said Bad.
“The meaning of the song can vary in many things, like the absence of a person who is no longer with you, or a love. But it can be many other things too, that are no longer there,” shared the singer whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio.
Bad added that his new album is a love letter to Puerto Rico, saying, “At times you are perhaps a little nostalgic, a little sentimental… But at the same time, you are enjoying other things: playing dominoes with grandparents or with the family.”
“Since we are also in Puerto Rico, we are at home, we are with the group: That is a reason to be happy, to be content,” said the Monaco hitmaker.
For those unversed, Bad and Kendall first ignited dating rumors in February 2023 when they were spotted enjoying dinner with Justin and Hailey Bieber.
“They are very cute together. Kendall is happy,” an insider told People magazine at that time. “He is a fun guy. Very much a gentleman and charming. She likes his vibe. He is very chill.”
However, the rapper and reality star took a break in December 2023 and rekindled their romance several months later when they were seen getting cozy at the Met Gala afterparty.
By September, the two have called it quits again.
