Ashley Stobart makes raw comment about her facelift decision
How Ashley Stobart’s pregnancy made her realize her cosmetic limits at 34
Ashley Stobart, a UK-based influencer and co-host of the Nip Tuck podcast, recently revealed why she decided to undergo a facelift at just 34.
While having a conversation with People magazine, Stobart shared that she had been getting fillers since she was 18, and during her third pregnancy, she realised how far she had come.
She said, “With the water retention, my face became so swollen. Seeing my reflection was a shock. I realised how much filler I’d accumulated over the years and thought, ‘What have you done to yourself?'”
Stobart added, “It was a massive wake-up call and made me decide to stop filler for good.”
After dissolving years of filler, she was left with “extreme” skin sagging, and at 34, she decided to skip less invasive procedures like the “ponytail” facelift and chose to undergo a full facelift instead.
The influencer articulated, “I was left with a lot of loose skin, especially around my jaw and mouth—it was so bad you could pull four centimetres of it away from my face. A full facelift was the best option to address the extent of the sagging and give me the results I wanted.”
Notably, Stobart stated that multiple surgeons rejected her request for the procedure due to her young age.
However, she eventually found one “who understood my concerns and was willing to do it.”
