Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are expecting their first child together. Two months ago, the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family members.
Minutes before, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram handle and shared the good news with the world. The news has taken the internet by storm, Bhatt shared a photo of her and husband Ranbir Kapoor at a doctor’s appointment with an announcement in the caption that reads,
“Our baby….. coming soon.” Alia Bhatt wrote and both are staring at the sonogram screen in the picture.

The picture immediately went viral with millions of likes and received lots of congratulations within a short span of time. Several Bollywood celebrities including her sister-in-law Riddhima Kapoor congratulated the couple.
The Brahmastra co-star Mouni Roy wrote, “Immensely happy” followed by heart emojis. Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan also commented, “congratulations mama and papa lion,” referencing the second photo Bhatt shared with the pregnancy announcement of a family of lions.
Filmmaker Karan Johar and actors Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti Chopra, and Tiger Shroff congratulated the couple on their announcement as well.
